Bajaj Auto’s ambitious Chetak Electric Yatra draws to a close on November 14 at the company’s Akurdi plant in Pune. 20 Chetaks began the nearly 3,000km-long journey from Delhi to Pune (via a few detours along the way) on October 16. Although the scooters will complete the journey on the aforementioned date, the launch of the Chetak will take place December while deliveries for the scooter will start from January 2020. Dealers suggest that the Bajaj Chetak will hit showrooms in Pune and Bengaluru by the end of November 2019. It’s expected to carry a price tag of around Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom).
